The founder of Kovensky Daniels, Gabriela offers clients over 12 years of experience in legal recruiting.  She specializes in retained and contingent law firm searches at all levels– partners, practice groups, and associates.  As a lawyer, she is uniquely qualified to assist law firms identify and hire the best attorneys for their practices. 

Prior to founding Kovensky Daniels, Gabriela worked for two large legal search firms.  Before entering the legal recruiting field, she worked for several government agencies on Capitol Hill, and as a tax consultant for Ernst & Young.

Gabriela graduated from the University of Texas with honors and received her JD from the American University, Washington College of Law.  She is admitted to practice law in both California and the state of Washington.

She lives in Great Falls, Virginia with her husband and five dogs.

Steve brings business acumen and an international perspective to Kovensky Daniels.  He advises law firm partners and other senior level candidates with regard to law firm mergers and acquisitions of practice groups. 

Before joining Kovensky Daniels and entering the legal recruiting field, Steve worked in the finance and business development departments of several multinational companies.  He is experienced with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial modeling and the development of strategic business plans.

Steve graduated from Auburn University in Alabama and holds an MBA from Duke University.  He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
